I would have preferred much more bike and rider detail addressing the tagline "... Essay of An Aging Biker", which is the basic reason I got the publication. Things like compensating for age in safety issues, types of bike features most beneficial, riding style modifications.

I'm planning my first motorcycle trip on my BMW and this book was an inspiration. As a bonus, the author's son rode exactly the same bike as mine on their trip, a 1994 R1100RSL. This read so easily and quickly, I felt as though I was being told the story over a few beers. Well done. I look forward to more.
I love reading stories about folks packing it up and heading out for an adventure on a motorcycle. It was a quick decent read. no complaints except how he gushes over Ronald Regan for quite a while...
While the adventures of boomer bikers is a great subject, this is not interesting enough to justify my money or my time.
I guess anyone can get a book published.
